Our School
Our school is located in Istanbul which leaned its shoulders on two neighbouring continents. Istanbul is one of the oldest cities in the world and surrounded by seas from three sides. It is famous with its city walls, palaces, Bosporus and also entertainment.
Being the brother country with 54 countries, Istanbul will host to 2010 European Capital of Culture. In this city, that has a history more than 2500 years; all religions live under the same roof. Istanbul is an intercontinental city. The part falls in Europe is called as European side while the part remains in Asia is called as Anatolian side. Our school is located in a modern and elite district namely Suadiye that is governed by Kadikoy, the beautiful town of Anatolian side.
Suadiye is a district to have a high level of socio-cultural and economical structure as well as very precious residential area with a developed social sensitivity and with preserved historical structure. As it owns the most beautiful and longest street of Istanbul namely Bagdat Street, it is in close neighbourhood to shopping, recreation, culture and art centres. With its coastal road , view of one kind under the possession of the best tones of blue and green colours and with its friendly residents it is one of the most precious districts of Istanbul. Furthermore it is safe and also centric in terms of transportation.
Our school is taking the lead of featured schools in terms of cultural, artistical, academical and pedagogical facilities among the other public high schools. It also hosts to these kinds of activities. Student centred studies are performed under the supervision of experienced teachers to encourage students’ individual, artistical and social improvement at theatre, painting, music and sports as well as at ceremonies and celebrations. We have recorded successful results in the competitions organized in these fields. We pursue the modern technology and execute the student centred education. We are concentrating on utilizing the visual methods in our classes furnished with projectors.
We own a dynamic and experienced education staff of 50 people. Our teachers not only heed education but also instruction and they always improve themselves. We have one headmaster, four sub-managers, and seven support employees. We educate students between 14 and 18 ages for 4 years period. We have 1000 students in our school.
Our school is the leader in terms of the academic success among the high schools in Istanbul. Our success rate in the University Exam that takes place in Turk Education System is quiet satisfactory.
